Shadow People

Hi ya Nugget, always a good thing to hear of other folk's experiences, and yours are quite relevant here and interesting.

(04-15-2025, 02:20 PM)Nugget Wrote: This triggered something strange that began happening to me nearly 30 ears ago. Every night when I would close my eyes to go to sleep I would see changing colors of bright light pulsing and undulating until I fell asleep.

That does sound like the TV colour codes . . .

Quote:About 3 years later I began seeing faces-faces that I didn't recognize. They would at first appear distant, then zoom in large, disappear and be replaced by another and another until I fell asleep.

The color show and face show would alternate on somenights or run consecutively on others. I never could figure out what the meaning was-if any, or what trick my brian was playing onme.

I had a similar experience when doing mirror work. I would have a mirror in a dark room with two candles on either side and using my peripheral vision one could experiment seeing the shadow people and auras. Auras around the candle flame, for example. One night while gazing at the mirror, my reflection disappeared and a series of bearded men's faces appeared in the place of mine.

My understanding is the men were looking at me from the other side of the mirror. One can use the mirror as a looking glass in the fashion of Lewis Carroll's Through The Looking Glass And What Alice Found There.

My Aunt used to see people looking at her while falling asleep. She described them as "passers-by who stopped to look".

Quote:About 3 months ago things changed and I began seeing text; paragraph after paragraph of writing I can't quite read, as if out of some book. Then I began seeing what looked like company ledgers and data sheets.
That has morphed into code; it looks like computer code to me-something I have zero understanding of.

I realized a few nights ago that I hadn't seen the light display in many months, and a couple of nights later I feel asleep to a light display. I also made note that the 'faces' show never happened anymore-and that night the faces were back.

It sounds like you're probably more aware and connected than you might think.

Quote:I have no idea what part of my subconscious is at work or what the messgae (if any) might be. I'm not inclined to believe my mind is being hijacked or programmed by some other-world entity but it sure does puzzle me.

Confused

For a while, I used to sit on a park bench in the land of the dead. The park was in a town with streets and roadways. The Masons had a lodge not far away, as they would walk by the park. They knew I was there, and always ignored me. The Catholic clergymen on the other hand would attack and presumably try to exorcise me from my park bench. I got furious one time with one of them. Not because he could harm me, but because he attacked the deceased children who would sit with the old, warm ghost (me) on the park bench.

I used to go there to collect stray dead kids, whom that clergyman called "abominations unto god". They were kids who belonged to the fairies in life. So my assumption is the Catholics saw us as "demons" and tried to inflict 'god' on us, or something like that.

The point of the story is, I am of the opinion that we are probably like shadow people or ghosts to the people whom we call "shadow people" and "ghosts". It would make sense then that they would try to work out how to contact us, just as we try to contact them.

I wouldn't rule out the question of technology on both sides of the looking glass.

I'm inclined to dismiss the programming and mind control idea, too. Though in UFO encounter and abduction cases that may be true.

I was outside having a smoke and reflecting upon what I wrote in my reply to Nugget above.

In a way, one might consider the land of the dead, as I call it, to be a parallel world. It isn't much different to this one. It looks a lot like this one, and the Catholics don't get on with the Masons there either.

I'm no expert, but I notice things. It so happens that they are also concerned with the UFO problem, there are abductions in that world too. They also have some sort of technology. There is a big difference though, in a way they are stuck in the past. That is to say, they do what they did here when they lived here. The old joke about bureaucrats being bureaucrats in the afterlife seems to be so.

The explanation, it seems to be to me, is a simple one. The deceased can't make new memories, to some extent. In the fairy thread (revisited from ATS) is explored what I call the snowflake memory, so I won't go into it here. One of the problems for deceased kids is they don't make new memories in the afterlife. They generally do what they did whilst alive. In cases of violent trauma where the children don't want to live again, they tend to fade away over time. They don't have a future here because they don't want to be born again. They don't have a future there, because they will eventually just fade away. That is why I have such an interest in them.

So if we think in parallel world terms separated by the looking glass, it stands to reason that they look through the mirror at us too.

Yet it doen't seem to be a separate reality, to borrow a term from ol' Carlos Castenada. The common ground seems to be dreams, both here and there. I have noticed that the newly deceased wake up there, and it takes a few days for their memories of life here to return. From observation, the memories don't return chronologically in a linear fashion. Memories return in order of the strength of the emotions. That is the most emotional time of their life returns first. One married couple who passed on looked just like they did in their wedding photo. Another, who was a soloist in the Ballet Company at sixteen years, looked just like a portrait of her at that age. It was also the first thing that they remembered after death.

This is the problem with trauma, if trauma eclipses all else, that is what is remembered first, with the obvious complications.

Now, it is sometimes said that when we die, we wake up in the afterlife and life is just a dream. Maybe so from a perspective, but that just cheapens being alive. It also sounds to me that it is a biased and unrealistic view. My own opinion is the people who say the other world is reality and our world is illusion are excusing what happens here and probably their involvement by way of interfering with the living world (us).

It stands to reason that we have a daily cycle of sleeping and awake, and we dream while sleeping. One might say that their sleeping occurs when they live here. Thus, the point of view of life in this world being "just a dream".

They need to live now and then, otherwise they will all fade away eventually.

The shadow people and their shadow world have a few fundamental differences with us, is what I am saying here.

A little more on the eyes and light. It seems the work ongoing behind the scenes.

Quote:Scientists hijacked the human eye to get it to see a brand-new color. It's called 'olo.'

Using an experimental technique called "Oz," researchers stimulated the human retina such that people saw a brand-new color.

Scientists have devised a method to hijack the human eye, enabling it to see brand-new colors that lie beyond the scope of natural human vision.

With this technique, the researchers enabled five people to see a new color, dubbed "olo," which the study participants described as a "blue-green of unprecedented saturation." The researchers, some of whom participated in the experiment themselves, described their technique and the new color in a study published Friday (April 18) in the journal Science Advances.

While the article writes that they use a laser to target certain cone cells in the eye, the article nevertheless suggests that there is more to 'seeing' than meets the eye.

Quote:The scientists are now exploring the idea of using Oz to study and treat color blindness, as well as to stimulate the experience of having a fourth type of cone cell. This occurs naturally in some people and results in a rare ability called tetrachromacy, which boosts their sensitivity to color.

What is 'tetrachromancy'?

Quote:The average person can see a million to several million colors. But people with tetrachromacy can see hundreds of times more colors, letting them experience color in a way far more vivid and extraordinary. This rare ability isn’t well understood, but researchers are looking for better ways to test for and learn more about it.

I find this interesting and relative, not so much for the medical technicalities, but rather that this illustrates there is more to our physical eyes and vision than people think. Which in turn suggests that some people can see more things than than the average person. Shadow people for example.

While science can be fascinating, my own preference is for fieldwork.

The shadow folk are next to impossible to photograph clearly. YouTube has a lot of videos like that. So the next best thing is the drawings of people who can see the shadow folk.

Today I asked the young lady and her mother for permission to post some of the young lady's drawings of the shadow folk. These drawings were made about six months ago.

The drawing below is of a "corner peeker". They got their name from the habit of peeking around corners.  I am informed these all have three toes which makes them non-human. From memory, she said they about a meter/yard or less tall.

The next drawing is of the same critter who was watching her while she sat on a swing in her backyard. The young lady's comment was "he will try to hide when looked at directly", as illustrated in the drawing.

I have more, and will post them in time.
