I am going to read through your thread...because I'm always willing to consider things I've never been exposed to before, but I will admit the first thing that came to my mind is "sounds like some form of schizophrenia". Then I tought back to all the other culture's beliefs I've investigated, shamanism, Buddhist Monks, Native Medicinemen/women and how the kids of the 60's were experiencing the same things-with a little help.

I read everthing I could get my hands on during the UFO craze, followed Graham Hancock and others thoughout the ancient alien discoverys, every single Edgar Cayce biik, Chan Thomas, Churchward and even read all of Shirley McClain's books, plus nearly every book she ever mentioned having read herself.
I've got a hell of a mess going on in my head! Might as well add one more piece to the puzzle, eh?
P.S. I'm a really slow reader, and it's a LOOONG thread, so it gonna take me awhile.
P.P.S. I don't think you're crazy.

Oh . . . I see. -- ROFL
I also did a shorter thread: The Secret Life Of Greys. I had so much fun with a four foot tall grey. She told me one time that she wanted to make me her doll and play inside my head. So I nicknamed her Wednesday Addams after the daughter in the TV show The Addams Family. In the show the daughter carried around a headless Marie Antoinette doll.
Anyway, have fun with the Secret Life Of Fairies.

There's a fellow named The Ethical Skeptic that has done a lot of work on what he calls Master Exothermic Core-Mantle Decoupling – Dzhanibekov Oscillation (ECDO) Theory. I think Chan was getting there, but TES gets into a lot of data and science. There are a few others that work on it and contribute, in a loose community, with modeling and such. This is not simply a magnetic pole shift that occurs, but a physical shift of the axis of rotation. The skeptics say it can't happen to a sphere, but they neglect to consider that the earth is not anywhere near a uniformly dense mass.
This video shows what happens to an uneven body rotating in space, which is the Dzhanibekov Oscillation.
As it relates to earth what we should be imagining with this video is that the object is surrounded by a less dense material making a roughly spherical shape. The flip is based on the mass, densities, rather than the overall shape. Some recent mainstream work is suggesting that the Earth’s mysterious inner core really is changing shape. Unfortunately, like much of much of science, this is embargoed behind paywalls so I can't tell you much more about that particular article. To really model this we'd need to know much more about the earth below the crust than currently is possible. I don't know that we're even close.
There are a handful of people kicking around that I have a lot of respect for in the conjectural science space. The Ethical Skeptic is uniquely impressive among that small group, though he's not easy to follow. It's a little frustrating that he is so hard to follow, but I respect the decision. I like being able to write with the full suite of tools and knowledge available to me, but it's not practical for most places and encounters.
More directly on topic...
I think the Fae have had many names to many cultures. We have been inculcated to disbelieve, even those that adhere to similarly esoteric beliefs about religion, that there is any possibility they exist. I believe that, at a minimum, the Fae are an egregore. Existence is a fuzzy thing, but in my worldview even egregores exist and have real impacts on the physical world. Even if by human proxies, they have had impacts on the real world. People have burned at the stake, persecuted, and imprisoned, for consorting with them. I think they're more than just an egregore though. I think they're connected to the rare non-terrestrial UAP phenomena and the rare paranormal events that involve high strangeness in physics like poltergeist activity. Not that they can all be thrown in the same basket, but there is likely to be a medium within our reality that will eventually be discovered to be the domain in which these entities operate.
Skinwalkers in the indigenous American cultures probably tie in with the Fae phenomena, but I'm a novice in this space. The general "spirit world" of indigenous lore is likely the medium without our reality, not yet discovered and quantified, where all these entities operate.
That's just my perception of course. I have nothing from my five sense that provide anything more than background information related to the topic. I'e never seen, heard, smelled, touched, or (eww) tasted, what I considered to be an external paranormal force.

I'm having difficulty navigating some of the subject matter in your thread. I worte a long reply to you and Kshikehe but must have hit the wrong button, since it didn't post and just disapperared!
I'll take it that I should continue reading and digesting the information before responding in detail.
I will say that the Cayce readings say the earth has shifted on its axis not once but three times. Of course, that gives main stream science all the more reason to discredit his channeled information. Of course, scientist aren't positive why there have been three bottlenecks iof the human race, but it must have been an asteroid or mini ice age, etc; it absolutely couldn't have been a shift of earth's axis.
Last week I read this little tidbit:
Quote:Scientists have uncovered new information about the Earth's core: it may not be completely solid. Instead, its center may be more malleable than expected and has changed shape in recent years. These findings could lead to a better understanding of the inner workings of our planet and how life here will evolve over time.

I stayed up way past my bedtime last night and am now working on a sleep deficite-but I've made it to page ten! Did I mention I'm a slow reader?

Gremlins have gotten into your PC, obviously.
Discussing the Fae has opened a door. Now the boggarts, hobgoblins, and other assorted characters will be visiting.
It was nice knowing you...

Well, I thought you would need clarification, and since the fae are a huge subject I'll will make a fairy thread here on MPP that links back to the original content on ATS.
I will write up an introductory bridging thread this afternoon. This way we are not drifting. You can ask me (almost) anything there.

Don't underestimate my powers; I have conquored more demons than most people know exist!
I've even been accused of being one a time or two, believe it or not.
P.S. Can a witch be considered a demon? How about a shrew.....

P.S. My first response here would not post. I had come to the thread via the thread notice msg, just like the last time my post wouldn't post.
I saved to draft (adter I copied this response), then went to draft -it still wouldn't post.
I proceded to go to recent threads, pick this one and paste the above reply-which worked.
Somebody messed something up under the hood, and while it appears to have all the fingerprints of what I'm known to do when I get near a keyboard I swear I didn't touch anything!!!
PPS: Maybe the reply button is broken? Still not my failt.

Hey, Nob! I was refering to your thread on ATS. I had a hard time reading past the first two pages because of the subject matter being-disturbing, but I promised to read it so here I am.
I find myself wondering now about a generational trauma element being at play; will that be addressed going forward(on ATS, I mean)? I'm only up to page 12, so have a long way to go.
There is a familiarity with much of what you say to sories and legends I've explored, just told in a different light/angle than I've ever seen before. It's becoming clearer as I read on, and I see a few more late nights in my future.
Hopefully the gremlins will let me post replies going forward- or did I upset the fae?

Sad.
I tried to warn you.
Maybe they're in your browser cache. Did you delete cookies?
Maybe a Mogwai got into the cookies after midnight, hence the Gremlins?
