I do not complain spending soo much time in ATS, it was fun until it lasted, but also it was soo much good information to find.

Well, what do ya know! ATS is back! Talk about a tough fighter that just doesn't give up and die. This is what, the 3rd time in a couple of years that we thought it wouldn't come back? Let's see how long it lasts.

Why go through the effort to reinstate a dying site? No new members. All the old ones are leaving due to mismanagement. This proves they have some ‘plans’ for the place. This is sketchy beyond belief.

At best, someone in charge finally got the word that their site wasn't responding and did the minimum to get it running again.  At worst, there's a massive conspiracy and members are doomed if they take part on the site.  I think it's the former.  Just a matter of complete apathy by those in charge mixed with a bit of incompetence.  The site chugs along totally on it's own with no sign of maintenance going on aside from a couple of forum admins who keep threads clean.  I hope they continue to do so.

We can count on ATS going dead again at some point.  The big question is will it keep coming back?

Yeah, sumthin' ain't right with that...at all!!

The mods have no access, and the admins don't even have an administrative access, but magically all of a sudden the site magically comes back up after being out for several days?????  Nothin' fishy about that at all!!

Somebody has access, that's for damn sure!

Add another item to the list of perplexing actions by the new owners. I’m wondering if _GHOST_ did it, due to withdrawals of the Q threads. Otherwise, it means Darko got up at 6am and fixed it this morning. Somestupidname said that a user named Shadow78 was the first to log in today. That account was created right after the lockout of October 2023.

Looks like a very old admin account logged in. It's also on the super mod list now. Not sure how long that's been the case. Perhaps that's how mod status changes and how some other things changed over the past months.

My original account spontaneously lost its password a while back. I went to check after it was noted that the mod status on the account was removed. Not that it was done against my wishes. I sent an email to the contact page long ago about it. The whole point of the sock was because I didn't want to post under a mod account when there was nobody minding the store. I just wasn't aware that anyone had the ability to do status changes except for the admin. Maybe somebody had access to an admin panel after all.

Hard to say what's happened. I don't know why the regular staff would do anything to get the site back online after what many thought was an overdue death, but can come up with no reason for the owner to either. I honestly can't even come up with a reason for the site to be used as a honeypot or anything by a third party either.
