Just for your reference, there is a pretty handy free tool out there called "FastStone Photo Resizer" which I've found comes in handy for all sorts of stuff where image sizes present issues.

Just thought I'd pass this along.

Thank you!

Which one is a bigger dickhead? I’ll let you decide.

Honestly, I don't really know who either of those people are.

I think I might have seen reference to the first guy, but was there ever any confirmed connection between him and ATS?  No idea who the second guy is.

Pretty much, RIP for ATS...I think.

I'd be really surprised if it comes back after this one given none of the mods or admins had any admin access to fix anything.  My suspicion is it was a hardware failure because of when it failed, but that's just speculation on my part.

Welcome!  Good to see you!  Jump in!!

Yeah, it does feel like the end for ATS, sadly it has been that way for awhile.
it's hard to imagine it bouncing back. A hardware failure does seem plausible, but I guess we'll never know for sure.

Thanks for the welcome! : )

So, a couple things I learned here which will help you understand things.

In your info box you will see a couple stats.  Most are obvious, but "likes received", "Likes given", and "Reputation" are all different metrics.  I tripped over "Likes given" for a while, because I was "rating" people's posts, but no "Likes given" were showing.  That's because they're different.  At the bottom of an OP (and only an OP) on the right hand side there is a "Like" button; it's like a "flag" on ATS (sort of, but it doesn't show).  If you click that, you're giving someone a "like" which will increment your likes given.  If you "rate" a post, nothing shows in your stats.  But the member will be notified of both the "Like" and the "Rating".  And, their "Likes received" will increment by one.  Vice versa for you.

Just thought I'd pass this along.

I can see how the “Likes given” thing could trip one up... yeah, I thought the Reputation button was the like.

Appreciate you taking the time to explain! : )

Reputation translates to a positive "Rate" from someone else.

That's where I got confused also.

The first pic is Darko, real name Chris Castillo.

The second pic is the guy that bought ATS from SO. His name is Matt RedHawk. And is also the owner of Mypatriotssuply.com. Hence, the ads that used to be on there.
