How your day went

Chit Chat thread,

What the title says, good way to just break away from the heavy stuff and talk about day to day nonsense that we all go through.

We are, afterall, just people. No matter how looming our online persona is.

So for me, tonight, I"m trying to take it easy and head in early(ha ha, spocks a drunk.....news flash to no one) so I can be somewhat pleasurable for my oldest brothers wedding tomorrow.

So just watching some TV and hanging around MPP and looking for a pre midnight bedtime.

When you got banned or whatever happened on ATS it was like they fired the overnight DJ that would occasionally chat between songs (and drinks, clearly). After the primetime normies left it then went quiet until the salt o' the earf Brits arrived in the wee hours US time. The overnight hours were slow and often uninteresting.

It's like 7AM here, so my day is pretty uneventful so far.

Enjoy the wedding.

I think I went to bed just before you posted this.

Hope the wedding goes great! Get us some video of you causing a scene?  :drinkingbuddies:

Hmmmm….. Saturdays are bitter sweet for me. I make the most coin - but deal with the most BS. It’s always the best when it’s DONE! Speaking of, meeting the last guide now. A day in the life of wine tours….

I spent my saturday with family. While I didn't drink (had to drive home) I had my "Tincture" in my tea, to get me through the day and managed to keep my sister from killing my stepsister while we made cider. And reaffirmed that my stepfather is an ass.
Fun seeing the rest of the family though.

Let's see...

The last few days (last weekend and this week so far)
- Made Sauerkraut
- Canned Salsa
- Made bread (fail)
- Made more bread (semi-fail)
- Canned more Salsa
- Made croutons (from failed bread) (they rock!)
- Made even more bread (success!)
- Made more Sauerkraut
- Made Caramel candy
- Made a mutha' luvin' metric shit-ton of Sauerkraut!

Was trying out a new bread making system, making artisan bread in a cast iron dutch oven along with a new recipe. Even ground our own wheat...so bread from total scratch.

Cooking is so relaxing, I'm no cook, but I do enjoy just doing basic meal prep for the week.

At this point in my life, it's one of the few things I don't seem to turn into a shit show.

Today, I pretty much took a big mid day nap. Then I realized I shouldn't be so lazy so I finally got around to servicing my truck.

Changed the engine oil, checked the front and rear differential and transfer case(front diff fluid was gross), changed the engine and cabin filters.

So atleast I made something of the day.
