That was the original idea, but I think people are burnt out arguing about politics, let alone actually debating about them. It never goes anywhere, opinions aren't being changed. It is what it is.

This is a place, not the 'debate' forum, but the site, for a 'community' that doesn't have to fear censorship for touching upon the wrong topic or expressing their actual, unfiltered opinions, and that alone is a 'mud pit'.

No matter what the topic or genre is, if you want to express it, you're welcome here.

There was there was no intro, rules, or format, but I assumed that was the purpose.
