Not a day seems to pass anymore where I don't see something just completely crazy in the news.  This one takes the cake!

Some dude in the UK claims his 'partner' accidentally threw away a bag containing a hard-drive which contains $750,000,000 worth of bitcoin on it.  Seven hundred and fifty MILLION dollars!!  But it gets even better!...

This dude wants to get permission to excavate an entire landfill where the hard-drive is buried!  Now, let's think about this for a moment.  We've all seen what a landfill looks like, right?  They're HUGE, with millions of tons of garbage and other toxic stuff.  This dude wants to dig through an entire landfill, sifting though every single piece of garbage, looking for this black garbage sack with his hard-drive in it.

I get it, it's worth a lot of money, but a landfill?

I just can't wait for the reality TV show as treasure hunters go out in the middle of the night digging through garbage in some UK landfill.

You just can't make this shit up, folks!!

UGH....just make me wants to vomit even thinking about it! Our dead cows get hauled to landfills like this, and I don't care how much money is in there...there's no F'ing way I'm digging through a dead and rotting 1,200 lb animal to find it. I remember this story from 3-4 years ago. Back then it was 250,000,000. Guess he wants it even more now that it’s tripled.  

If I recall, the story went like this. Dude is mining bitcoin. Tons of computers and expensive electricity. Wife bitches and moans incessantly about it. Propelling husband to throw it all away……

Back then, he claimed to know roundabouts where it was in the landfill. AND offered the government half of it, to allow him to dig for the computers.
