Sorry, going to be that dick. Why the hell did the parents let him go sledding near a body of water? And at his incredibly young age, nonetheless.

Sounds like he sled down a hill and onto a frozen pond, on a golf course. Just so happened to get to the middle of the pond, and the ice breaks. 

Typical village idiots. She’s on the phone hysterical with the PD barely providing useful information. Meanwhile, two OTHER people are in the damn pond actually trying to save HER kid…..
