I am excited for this site, the potential is real.

Since their is a small possibility of people debating facts, how about a News Forum with a few simple rules:

This Forum would not be for opinion, but just links.

The only replies would be links to different sources for the same topic.

Basically a news feed, no opinions, just different sources.

ETA: It would be a great way to archive stories that have potential to disappear.

I'd also ask that the links be archived and not live per say. 

That would attempt to keep a record of timeline as well.

That's an excellent idea and concept.

There is one thing to consider and that is if the News Story is scrubbed from the internet, the link to it will be worthless.

We'll have to make it so the actual content is pasted into each thread, so we have the data for future reference.

Hoping to see some more old faces trickle over from the better days on ATS. I think if we get a nice core group to start it should take off pretty quickly.
