How about those gas prices?

#1
Down about 80 cents here, or more.

Used to be mid 3's at the worst places, now, I haven't seen anything over 3 bucks, last few tanks were at 2.50 to 2.60.

The leftist in me wants to jump up and down and praise biden for his efforts to relieve the costs on the middle class.

The intelligent person in me realizes that oil is sold as a commodity on a contract(futures) market and the election of Trump signals a drastic change in the US position on oil production and thereby the global supply. Increased supply, lowers prices.

I sometimes wish I could be oblivious, like your average leftist, but unfortunately for dems/biden, I can read.

Once the actual numbers start hitting the reports, we will probably be 2 bucks or just under by spring.

This will also, lower prices of all goods due to transportation costs.

Damn that evil Trump.

I paid under $3 bucks for diesel even at my last fuel up last week.  Haven't seen that in a really, really, long time!!  I had to do a double take-when I looked at the price.

Diesel normally runs .50 to .80 cents, sometimes over a dollar more than gas.

When I say 'double-take', I'm actually serious. I had to check to ensure it wasn't pure ethanol. Some places have started fielding green gas pump hoses which are dispensing ethanol instead of diesel (and they make the diesel hoses yellow). Put ethanol in a diesel engine and you can plan on a $10,000 repair...if you're that lucky.

Crypto is also having a surge since Trump.

I'm up over 3x currently, doing some basic stuff.

I'm putting 1/3 in a stable coin and 2/3 in my crypto of choice.

It's ideal for a market that's mostly moving within a range or crashing but you can still make decent fiat in a bull market.

I'm buying back as the price surges which means less coin for now but more $ on the balance sheet.

I'm thinking this type of trading is more suited to gold but hey I'll take it.

As we all know I'm not a financial expert by any stretch so whatever you do, diy.
