He came home from grocery shopping yeaterday and handed me the card and reciept, then went to change into his comfy clothes.
I looked at the receipt and saw 'one dozen long stemed roses, but there weren't any flowers in the bags.
I put the groceries away and when he came back into the room I pretended to be reading the receipt for the first time.
I was thinking he bought his mom some flowers and was going to compliment him.

I said "One dozen roses?" to which he answered "Happy anniversary." The look on my face said it all.....that was my third strike for forgetting such a memorable day.

I'm not sure why he's put up with me for so many years, but I'm thankful that he does!
