Never listened to a Taylor Swift song

#1
You know, rarely a day goes by when I don't see some news article about Taylor Swift.

It just occurred to me today; I've never listened to a Taylor swift song, not even one.  I couldn't tell you the name of a single song she sings, nor would I recognize her if I heard one. It's not because I don't like her (I don't), but I've just never heard one, and I haven't searched one out.

I guess I must be living under a rock.

I like rocks.

Wish I could say the same. My 12 year old daughter loves Shake It Off so I surprised her on a road trip by including it in my playlist.

Fuck me.

I look as ridiculous pulling off driver dance moves as you could possibly imagine.

And I couldn't care less.

Taylor Swift makes you feel like you couldn't care less.

About anything.

Except your daughter, maybe.

Mo(d) , feel free to ban me but yea I've been known to push the envelope and this is no exception:

I've heard a few of her tunes on country radio the odd time, never on purpose though lol

After watching the video I have only two thoughts:

1) There were lots of fancy dance moves going on but none of them were by Swift; the gal can't dance.

2) When she first became the latest sensation her eyes were too creepy to look at; I'm glad somebody taught her how to counter the creep factor with makeup.

Without the video the song doesn't really seem to have any value, but at my age I don't often hear new 'music' worth listening to.

She apparently puts on pretty energetic shows which are several hours long.  I'll give her some credit for that.

That's not easy to do.

She's a Hunger Games type elitist, and she's a commie for Blackface Harris.

She's got zero redeeming features as far as I'm concerned but that leads to a whole what's happening in the world and who's behind it type conversation so I'm still holding off on that conversation with my kids.

They're still in their wonder years.
