I love all kinds of DIY topics and MSB has a thread on mining in the chitchat forum at the moment. I think a lot of people that are into DIY work also like hearing the direct experiences people have with interesting projects. Some people only care when they're looking to do it themselves for basic home maintenance and such, but I read all kinds of stuff even if I may not have an immediate need to know. I think a lot of other people do too.

If we changed the cooking & recipes forum to cooking and DIY it would cover all these small scale hobbies and side-hustles. It would give them their own place in a dedicated forum.

Any objections to that?
