I'm sorry, but Britney Spears doesn't turn me on!

Look, the chick is almost exactly (20) years younger than me, but why am I having such a hard time finding her attractive?

I just see her as a "user' of social media, "addicted" to her own ego and self perception.  How sad.

I used to think she was really "HOT", but now, I wouldn't touch her with a ten foot pole.

Sad really.  I'm not sure I can ever say she was a "great performer" (unless it was in bed).  It seems she's pretty proud of her body...interestingly, which isn't all "that" anymore (but I'm sure some 'fish' would take the bait).  Again, I digress.

So, what''s up with this chick?

I wouldn't know because I was never a fan of her music, but considering how popular she was back in the day, she probably was a great performer. The most interesting thing about her though is that she just got out of a 13-year involuntary conservatorship (link). It's quite a story, which illustrates that some legal reform is needed on that front.

I'd love to sit here and say Spears is a great example of what is wrong with society today, but she really isn't.  Far from it actually.  If anything, she may have been out in front of the "stay relevant" craze, but she was quickly eclipsed from this role by people with far less talent, far less skills, and people who have contributed FAR less to society (I'm looking squarely at YOU, Kar-trashians, Paris Hilton, Youtube "influencer" giants, and so many others).

Some will say Britney started the overindulgent teen pop craze, but honestly, she can't really even lay claim to that either.  There were many before her. And, if she'd stop sticking her butt in everyone's face and just look in the mirror, one might even say she's "Old Skool" these days.

I dunno. In some respects I actually feel sorry for her. She's sitting on top of a literal mountain of money, but she seemingly has no happiness in her life, as she seems to continue to reach out to the outside world in an endless quest for validation.

The MSM doesn't help in this regard either. They lap this kind of stuff up. She could post pictures of shaking her butt around (150) times per day, and if the MSM never sensationalized any of it...no one would know.

I guess it's kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy and an endless doom-spiral.

Yeah, I mean, with the amount of drug abuse, suicides and other mental problems in celebrities it's hard not to feel bad for them sometimes. We all have part of our self-worth tied up in what other people think of us, but in celebrities this is greatly amplified. That's not a nice way to live. And I'm sure it didn't help Spears specifically to be put into what is basically prison for 13 years, either.

The mature female form is like fine art to most males, we're wired that way. That said, I don't find her beautiful, but a viable healthy female will always be attractive. Until the nads cease functioning, I'm afraid I am doomed to at least notice a healthy reproduction aged female human that is not hideous to look at for some reason.

Other than all that, I do feel sorry for someone like her who was a child star celeb type. They are usually messed up from the experience to varying degrees. The average lifestyles can be rough of course in comparison, but money can't buy happiness and big money will attract problems of all kinds.
