Top USAID career staff placed on immediate leave

The order — sent via email to members of the senior executive and senior Foreign Service — was issued close to the end of the business day Monday and was effective immediately, according to two current USAID officials and three former USAID officials told of the communication. It comes as USAID and the State Department have been ordered to impose halts on a vast number of humanitarian and related programs around the world.

Over three TRILLION dollars was spent on these programs in calendar year 2024 alone!!

The "Karman Line" which is technically the edge of "Space" from Earth is (62) miles above sea level.  If you stacked one trillion one dollar bills on top of each other it would reach up (65) miles from the surface.  That's just ONE trillion dollars.  THREE trillion dollars is 3X that high.

The average working person will earn roughly one million dollars in their lifetime.  If you stacked one million dollar bills on top of each other, it is only a paltry (358) feet tall!  That's just (58) feet longer than a single football field.  Three TRILLION dollars is (1,144 ) football fields!!

I'm sorry, people, but this kind of crazy spending must END!!!
