Do GUNS kill? Or do PEOPLE kill?

#1
Okay, so let's dispense with the fun stuff.  Let's cut to the chase...

Do  GUNS kill people...or do PEOPLE kill people?

Should we ban guns?  OR, Should we ban the people who use them to kill others for no lawful reason?

I'm in favor of tougher laws. If you get caught selling drugs you lose your home, finances and possesions. Maybe the same penality should be applied to a crime in which a firearm were used...and maybe a lifetime ban from ever owning one again.

If you're caught with an illegal firearm 10-20 sounds good.

If your minor child is able to access your firearm and commit a crime, the parent(s) should also be charged with the same crime.

That's just my wish list, but America has gone soft on crime and seems to overlooked the damage done to victims.

Plea bargaining should end immediately. When you can murder someone in cold blood, plea down to manslaughter, get sentenced to 10 years and parolled in 2 or 3 years there isn't much deterent to crime.

Our country is being filled with people from foriegn lands where stealing, murder, rape, pedophilia, etc. are all accepted parts of society with little to no consequences. We (politicians) are building a gigantic bonfire in the US. We won't be fighting a corrupt government in the future; we'll be too busy fighting the intentially imported criminal element amongst us.

I have no problem with this.

Generally, I'm okay with this too, but we need to define "illegal".  For example, 'black gun' should not equal "illegal", nor should any other nonsense.

You know, this is actually a valid point.  Parents DO have a responsibility to keep their children from going crazy, so I agree.  However, children don't always go crazy with guns, so it shouldn't be about gun only.  This is a delicate area which needs further exploration, and part of it should revolve around when a person is considered an "adult".  This gets blurry when we talk about things like military service (the "draft"), and/or drinking...or driving.  But I do agree; this is a worthy area of discussion.

I agree on all of these points.  Bottom line; illegal violence should be punished without exception.

Illegal "aliens" should be deported immediately.  They have no purpose in this country.  Zero.  They are unlawful persons who take up lawful resources in this nation.  Fuck them!!  If they won't leave, then they should be (...connection lost)!!!!!!!

I think it's only in recent times (last 30 or so years) that such a preposterous question could even be tendered for debate.

People kill people and if the unlawful understood that's what they risk, maybe they'd consider it before they fucked around.
