Info update not working

Unable to update my profile info or add a signature. When I hit the save button I get a 403 error.

This may end up being a problem for Myke.

I was able to add a signature and change profile settings.

What I did notice on the signature change screen is that you have to choose an action or it doesn't do anything. It defaults to no action.

   

I didn't get any 403 errors anywhere though, even changing a profile setting. Which one was it and which menu is it under?

I would either try again, if it was happening just in a short window before, or just clear cache and temp files if you already gave it a few tries over time.

I've tried to enter my gender, birth date and add a signature half a dozen times now. I did choose an action every time.

I will clear my cache later when I get a little more time and see if that works; if not, not a big deal.

Clearing my cache allowed me to update my profile, but rejected my 1908 year of birth as invalid.It works everywqhere else....

It still gave me a 403 messaage when trying to add a signature. Nobody wil ever know what I'm thinking....

Let's me try something.

Send me a PM with the signature you want and lets see if it lets me update it on my side. It won't solve the problem, but if it gives me the same error it will perhaps help us narrow things down.

It worked! I checked out a few other forums and my signatured magically appeared!

So, it didn't 403 when you set it to replace everywhere.

I don't know what might be causing that.

Maybe Myke will know, maybe we just hope it never happens again. I wonder if it isn't somehow related to the recent threads disappearing for a couple of us when we made profile edits.
