The thing about the first half of your reply that scares me...not you, the idea...is that people think AI thinks and reasons for itself. (Honestly, that is how it is portrayed in both fiction and non-fiction)
AI only learns how and what it is programmed to learn.
It is truly being portrayed as a benevolent god, but it can't be...which makes it something close to an antichrist type thing.
