I read this on your ATS thread with a great deal of interest. Our 18 y/o Granddaughter recently moved in with us and is definitely in need of some serious healing. 

I recently watched a video interview with indeginous healer Shawn Leonard and he mentioned our lives are affected by 7 generations past and 7 generations forward....and it's important to take a stance to break and heal generational trauma.
That really resonated with me, and coming from a long line of alcoholics and I decided at a young age not to mess with the devils drink. Sadly, it didn't work with all of my children.

Babies are extra special to me, and I think I must be to them also. All my life babies have looked above the top of my head and they get so excited you can't help but laugh with them. They'll grin and coo, kicking and waving their arms.  I jokingly tell their parents I think I have an invisible clown above me.

Babies are born with all senses working and it isn't until they become mobile that they quit relying on their ability to 'feel' the world around them. They gradually loose that ability- if they're raised in a secure environment; if they're not raised to feel safe that extra awareness can serve to help them escape danger. 

They also run the risk of having their minds fractured, which reminds me of MK-ULTRA. Every empath, mystic, etc. I've ever met has had a story of early trauma, which I'm not convinced can ever be completely healed. 

One thing I read a while back really put life in perspective for me; "We attract the lessons we most need to learn in life". When you look at the lesson and not the actual event it completely changes one's perspective.

It can be a lonely world for people who see, hear, know things that others do not- especially if they're considered signs of mental illness or 'demon possession'.
